Every separate object in Rhino will be in its own group in SketchUp. Twinmotion features direct one-click synchronization with Archicad, Revit, SketchUp Pro, Rhino (including Grasshopper), RIKCAD, and Vectorworks, and the ability to import entire scenes from 3ds Max, formZ, Navisworks, and SolidWorks in uDatasmith format. Save, and then import the file in SketchUp (has to be SketchUp Pro). In the options, select 2004 Solids as the export scheme. Select AutoCAD Drawing Exchange (.dxf) as the type. Grouping Options Components can be grouped based on Layer Name & Object Type. Select all the geometry to be exported in Rhino. Option to also exclude unnamed Groups & Components. Exclusion Options BIMDeX will automatically segregate Components/Groups and user can exclude them from Export. To speed it up, go to “view” > “edge style” and deselect “edges” and “profiles.” You also want to make sure you turn shadows off by going to “view” and deselecting “shadows.” Under the “styles” tab in the default tray, make sure you select a rendering style that has a small stopwatch in the corner because these indicate faster rendering styles. Users can export the SketchUp model based on the Layers and Scenes created in the model. Moving around your Sketchup model may be really slow. You can experiment with the export options to see if you get a better result, but most of the time you might just have to resort to doing a small amount of cleaning up! Once you import your model from blender to Sketchup, you may notice some areas that need some work.
